My Review of a New Kind of Compression Sleeve
So for a while I’ve been sporting compression sleeves for my arms, and I’ve been trying to convince others to do the same. I thought about just ordering a couple pairs and just letting others try them out if they feel like it, so that they don’t feel pressured into spending money on something they aren’t sure about.
But now it seems like the new trend is compression sleeves for your legs, so I decided to give it a shot. These ones that I tested in particular are from DinoDerm.com
Being older and staying active, or even competing at some sport, requires a different level of attention to your body. You aren’t young anymore and your body doesn’t work and repair itself like it does in its younger years. I myself still get frequent exercise, which includes running for an hour, three or four times a week.
Usually during and after my runs without the sleeves, I can feel my legs getting really fatigued and some serious discomfort at the end. However, with the sleeves, my legs feel a lot more solid while running, and my legs don’t feel as “heavy” at the end of the run.
What I also like about these specific sleeves is that they are all black. They are quite discrete looking when compared to the ones with crazy, flamboyant colors and patterns. This helps a lot since I actually like to wear these a lot even outside of exercising, like if I anticipate that I will have to be on my feet or walking around for a long period of time. The only thing I would watch out for is the size of the sleeve since the sizes don’t vary.
